In 2019 my proposal was selected as one of this year’s Projects for Peace grant recipients, receiving $10k to create The Talk Documentary + Online Toolkit. This ambitious project explores the complex and broken landscape of sex education across America, the far-reaching repercussions of this failed system, and envisions the transformative potential of comprehensive sex ed.
After a truly unforgettable summer, driving cross country in my moms car to film and develop The Talk, this project is finally in post production and hopes to release by 2021. The relationships we’ve built across the country with national organizations, sex educators, schools, teachers, young activists, and public officials have all come together to help create a national reckoning about this issue. Because now, more than ever, it’s time for The Talk.

As of January 2020 the Chicago Police Department has joined over 600+ known agencies across the country that deploy Clearview AI, an app that scrapes images across social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn to sell to law enforcement agencies as a proprietary policing product.
FACE IT! is a multimedia investigation that utilizes desktop documentary to (un)cover developments between the US government and its (un)disclosed use of Clearview AI. With a databank of over three billion headshots—and fifty million more added each day—this branded technology implicates us all by design, exploiting the social media Terms & Conditions we've already agreed to, capitalizing on a veil of advanced public safety.

An increasing amount of anti-abortion legislation are being triggered across the country. Many of these bills—fetal heartbeat bills, abortion bans, initiating death penalty as punishment—are designed not to be implemented, but to push the Supreme Court to reverse the decision in Roe V. Wade.
This series, titled The Walk, shares the stories of clinic escorts, volunteers who help community members access reproductive choice providers. Through phone interviews, The Walk is a series of short films that documents volunteers who put themselves at risk to protect the right to choose.

As the media generates its endless images, Americans are fed more and more information about people who are less and less real. What separates this new era of ‘celebritism’ in America today is their newfound ability to advertise, sell, and politicize these godly humans through incredibly dangerous, calculated, and deceiving ways.
This experimental short documentary explores the ever-thinning line between American celebrities and politicians, from the 1946-2016.
Information about these idols comes at its audience with incredible speed, in innumerable changing faces and stories. Americans risk being the first people in history to have been able to make their fantastical illusions so vivid, so persuasive, so realistic that they can now live in them.
